Sourced from the warm, sun-drenched vineyards on the eastern end of the valley, this late-ripening variety soaking up intense heat to achieve full maturity. Once in the cellar, the fruit is treated with exceptional care. To give the fermentation a clean and robust start, the grapes are gently brought up to temperature on concrete radiant heating pads before the winemaking begins.
Dark purple attractive red and blue berry fruit with subtle oak after. Bit of nice white pepper and greenish herbs.
medium body. Smooth/polished entry. Red and blue and dark berry flavors. Modest oak/spice. Harmonious and nice in not heavy style. Very good!
